None through the app itself — the one exception, if you choose to email us, is covered below. This app does not require or offer an account, login, or sign-up of any kind. We do not operate a server that stores your personal information, and we cannot identify you individually from anything the app itself does. Your letters and anything you write back stay on your device.
None in this version. The version of the app in the store shows no ads: it contains no ad unit and requests no ad. It does not ask permission to track you. It does not use a billing service: nothing in this version can be bought. It has no analytics, and it sends none of what you write or read off your phone.
This version of the app is built without the Mobile Ads SDK, without a billing library and without the tracking-permission module: it cannot show an ad, sell anything, or ask to track you. If a future version shows ads or offers something to buy, we will update this policy and the app's store listing before that version is released.
Free crisis-support resources, such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the United States, are always available in the app — look for “Talk to someone trained,” which does not depend on anything you write: in the Help tab; on your Today screen; on the reply screen while you write; and in Settings. You don’t have to write anything to reach them.
Separately, when you write a reply, the app compares it on your device against a short list of specific phrases about self-harm or violence, and shows those same resources if one matches. This check only recognizes those particular phrases. Most ways of describing a hard or dangerous situation will not match it, so it is not a substitute for the always-available options above. The check runs entirely on your device — what you wrote is never sent anywhere for this purpose, and we never see it.
Everything the app remembers about you is stored on your phone: your first name, the writer and topics you chose, your delivery time, whether you turned reminders on, the letters you have received, every reply you have written, the reminders the app has scheduled, and when the system last asked you for a rating. The app does not send any of it to us, because we run no server. It stays on your phone until you choose “Delete my data” in Settings or delete the app. “Delete my data” clears all of it except a short list of the dates the system last asked you for a rating, which only limits how often you are asked and goes when you delete the app. Android’s automatic app backup is turned off for this app, so no copy is kept in your Google account. On iPhone the app asks iOS to leave its saved data out of iCloud and computer backups.
The app has no account and we run no server that holds your information, so there is nothing for us to delete in a system of our own; to remove what the app keeps on your phone, open Settings and choose “Delete my data”, or delete the app. If you write to support@dailybiblelettersforwomen.com about your data, we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do.

If you choose to email us, we will see your email address and whatever you write, only to answer you. We don't add it to any list, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else.
This app is not directed at children and is not listed in the Kids category. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
